Kim at Mc'D Party

Kim Kardashian at McDonald's Dollar Dilemma -

It seems that McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) isn't impervious to the inflationary frenzy. Citing high commodity costs, media reports suggested that the company would rework its famous -- and famously effective -- Dollar Menu.

Second-quarter financial results at McDonald's yesterday showed no sign of turmoil. The company swung to a second-quarter profit of $1.19 billion, or $1.04 per share. That far exceeded Wall Street's estimates, even without a $0.10-per-share gain from the sale of Pret A Manger. If you recall, in last year's second quarter, McDonald's reported a loss of $711 million, or $0.60 per share, after selling its Latin American and Caribbean operations.

Jennifer Aniston Spicy Perfection

Jennifer Aniston’s Spicy Perfection -

Jennifer Aniston (her original last name was Anastassakis, but her family changed it when they moved to the U.S. from Greece) was born on February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, California. Jennifer is no stranger to the acting world: She is the daughter of John Aniston, who starred as Victor Kiriakis on the daytime soap Days of Our Lives, and Nancy Dow, an actress and model. Jennifer is also the goddaughter of the late Telly Savalas (of Kojak fame).

In 2001, Jennifer returned to the big screen with her role as Mark Wahlberg's loyal girlfriend in Rock Star. The following year, she wowed audiences and critics alike with her turn as an unfaithful wife in the independent flick, The Good Girl.

Amanda Bynes Jog in Red

Amanda Bynes Jog Red -

Amanda Laura Bynes was born on April 3, 1986, in Thousand Oaks, California. One could perhaps attribute her flair for comedy to her father, Rick, a dentist and comedy enthusiast who encouraged Amanda and her siblings to perform.

As with many young stars, Amanda Bynes' career has benefited from the influence of a mentor. Dan Schneider was the creator of both of her hit Nickelodeon shows, so it follows that he was the impetus and screenwriter behind Big Fat Liar, her 2002 film debut. Although Frankie Muniz from TV's Malcolm in the Middle was the movie's star attraction, audiences agree that Amanda's character was the funnier one, thanks to her physical comedy and hilarious impersonations.

Tila Tequila's Hot Walk

Although she was born in Singapore, on October 24, 1981, Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila) is of Vietnamese heritage. Her parents left Vietnam just before Tila was born, and they stayed in Singapore for a couple of years before moving again, this time to Houston, Texas. Once in the Lone Star State, the Nguyens settled into a Buddhist gated community, where Tila and her older sister and brother grew up in a strict, sheltered environment.

By providing the naked goods on her popular website, TilasHotSpot.com, Tila Tequila or Tila Nguyen became one of the internet's most sought-after models. Playboy featured this petite beauty in both its magazine and on its television channel, and she got her own show, A Shot At Love, on MTV.

Paris Hilton in Blue

Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune -- estimated at $300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr., also brought some notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands. Paris' younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the throne as co-heiress of the Hilton empire.

"Paris the Heiress" is first-born in the latest generation of the Hilton family (of swanky hotel fame). Fat trust fund aside, she is also known for being a high-society party girl, part-time model, part-time singer, and quasi-actress. Her most notable roles were playing herself on the reality show The Simple Life with Nicole Ritchie, as well as starring in the horror flick House of Wax (2005). She also released her debut self-titled album in 2006. Oh yes, and who could forget the craziness surrounding her June 2007 arrest for driving on a suspended license? Probably no one - it consumed the news (and the world) for what seemed like months.

Salma Hayek on 30 Rock

Salma Hayek On The Set Of 30 Rock -- Best Actress Oscar nominee, Salma Hayek, has given her confirmation saying that she is delightful in being a part of the Tina Fey's comedy "30 Rock". Hayek's involvement in the series is playing the role as Alec Baldwin's new love interest.

Salma Hayek showed off her post-pregnancy and absolutely flawless body on the set of "30 Rock" in Brooklyn earlier today. I mean, HEY NOW! During a break, the actress spent time with her little daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault in her trailer.

Hayek, who also appeared on Ugly Betty two seasons ago, will appear on 30 Rock, “as a character - not as herself.”

She joins a star-studded list of guest stars that includes Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Gossip Girl frenemies Blake Lively (Serena) and Leighton Meester (Blair). The girls will play high school classmates of Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) in a flashback sequence on an upcoming episode airing this November.

As Hayek says, "I have been a fan of Tina's talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL." She added, " I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of '30 Rock'."
