Even though the fresh and bubbly BARKHA KAUL has made her presence felt as a promising and upcoming model, she is absolutely not content to bask in her past glories. Barkha is without doubt an ambitious lass who believes in living for today as she is amply aware that the coming future shall be a reflection of the choices she makes now and here.While she was still in school-back home in Agra, she was virtually cajoled to take part in a prestigious beauty test and she took up the challenge-just for a lark, what is more the dew fresh Barkha ended up being crowned Miss Agra in 1999. The restigious title was to prove to be the crucial turning point in deciding her career prospects as she took to serious modelling, shortly thereafter. Moving from Delhi to Agra to pursue her further studies also saw Barkha plunge neckdeep into modelling as a full-time profession. Her striking good looks and svelte figure made Barkha ideally suited for both ramp modelling as well as product endorsement, both of which there has been no dearth off-in her kitty.
In the last two odd years that Barkha Kaul has been making impressive strides on the modelling circuit, her professional portfolio boasts of her having endorsed such elite products as Levis, Libaas, La Pashmina, Oasis Mobiles, Mrignayani Emporium, Lee Cooper, STG Computers. She has also done designer shoots and fashion shows for some of the best designers which include Ritu Beri, Nikhil Shivdasani & Sonia Kumar amongst several others.
Barkha Kaul has also done several commercials on FM Channel as well as done a stint of anchoring for Star T.V., D.D-Metro & Sahara T.V. She has also acted in a docu-serial with Sohaib Illaysi for UTN. She has also hosted Jassi's live show recently. Amongst the programmes she has been successfully anchoring include Chat Masala on DD-Metro and another programme was co-anchored with Shekhar Kapoor on Star Plus. Apart from her first being prominently features in HT-City, Barkha has also made her presence felt in other popular magazines that include Cosmopolitan, Bride & Home, Zing, A&M, Woman's Era and Magnet.
Barkha Kaul is also a diploma holder in acting from the prestigious Asian Academy of Film & Television at NOIDA where she has been groomed and polished under the eagle eye of the dynamic founder director-Sandeep Marwah. With Barkha's modelling career in top gear, she is fully prepared for an alternative career in acting too. Already she has made her presence amply felt on the small screen and the next step promises to take Barkha Kaul into the lap of Bollywood.. Just a matter of time, one assumes.
