News has reached us of the HTC Omni, a smartphone that's packed full of features, but better still, looks simply glorious. Featuring a clamshell design, the HTC Omni looks super-stylish when closed, but open it up and it looks even more amazing.
Apart from the super-crisp white keyboard, opening it up also reveals a truly huge 4" WVGA display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels.
Ready for an acronym overload? Here's the HTC's Omni's complete set of features:
- Windows Mobile 6.0 OS.
- UMTS/HSDPA connectivity.
- WVGA 4" 800×480 px display, subdisplay.
- TV and VGA out.
- 256 ROM, 1280 RAM and microSD memory card slot.
- Wi-Fi b/g, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
- GPS/A-GPS.
- Full QWERTY keyboard.
- Dimensions: 130 x 81 x16 mm
Wow! Fantastic connectivity, whether it's from the built-in Wi-Fi connection or the superfast 3.6Mbps HSDPA mobile connection. TV and VGA out, so you can hook it up to your TV or PC's monitor. A GPS receiver, so you can use it as a Sat-Nav. And 1.2GB of memory built-in, expandable via microSD memory card.
If the Omni looks this good when it's released, it's going to be huge given this feature set! Should be out by October 2007, which is plenty of time to save for Christmas!
