Leaked pictures have emerged of the new Nokia 7900. The first thing that hits you about the 7900 is its styling. Featuring a novel criss-cross design on both the front keypad and the back, it's clearly aimed at the designer market. It's thin, too at just 11mm.
If the rumours are correct, then the 7900 will be a 3G phone with quad-band GSM, and will come with an MP3 player and video-player, Email, Bluetooth, 1GB of memory and an impressive screen capable of showing off 16 million colours.
Of course, rumours wouldn't be rumours unless there was a bit of argument over exactly what features a rumoured phone comes with, and the Nokia 7900 is no exception. The pic above shows the 7900 coming with a 1.3 megapixel camera, whereas other rumours suggest that it'll come with a 2 megapixel one!
My guess is the latter, as Nokia reserve their 1 megapixel cameras for their super-budget range - and if the looks of the 7900 are anything to go by, this will be anything but budget!
Other features are rumoured to include the following:
- 320×240 resolution
- 2 megapixel camera with flash
- USB 2.0
- Bluetooth 2.0
- FM Radio
- Shining LED stripe going around the casing
- Size: 106 × 44 × 14 mm
